Do I have to use the camera every time?
Yes — that is the whole point. Taking a sip on camera is how you dismiss a reminder and how a sip counts, so every streak is a verified one. There is no "just tap done" shortcut. If a check genuinely cannot see you after a few tries, you can skip so a bad angle or low light never costs your streak.
Does the camera store or share anything?

What counts as a valid sip?
Any drink container — glass, bottle, mug, tumbler — raised to your mouth for a real drink while you're on camera. The check confirms a real person is there taking the sip; it can't tell what's in the glass, so the honesty part is on you.
Does SipReceipt measure how much water I drink?
No — and we won't pretend it does. The camera verifies the sip; you log the amount. After each verified sip you can tap how much you drank toward your daily goal (in ml or oz), or skip it and the sip still counts.
